NYP Tennis Open 2012 Order of Play (Friday, 9 Nov)

Below is the Order of Play on Friday. Updated as at 8 Nov 2012, 11.30pm.

**LD32 and MD32 has been shifted to Friday from the Thursday Schedule with due for completion of the matches

Meet at the North Wing Tennis Courts on Friday, 9 November at least 20 minutes before your match starts. Players who arrive 15 minutes late will be given a walkover and your opponent advanced to the next round. 30 minutes break will be given for those who are playing consecutive matches.

Sports Drinks will be provided for everyday matches. However, it is still advised to bring your own water bottle for your match as there are limited bottles.

In events of wet weather, we will be hanging around the level 3 GYM Gallery Stand. Contact us if you can't find your way. Official announcement will be made by the Organizer, Ivan for the completion or postponing of the matches for that day. A new schedule will be drawn up and posted if needed.

For all matches on Friday, it will be a first to 9 Games (8-all Tie Break, Sudden Death).

All line calls and keeping of the score are players' responsibility. Balls will be Wilson Trainers.

Schedule (Updated as at 7 November 2012,11.30pm)

Players are to report at least 20 minutes before their allocated time slot. Players who report after 15 minutes of their allocated match time slot will be disqualified w/o appeal.

Come in proper sports attire and shoes for the tournament matches or players will be disqualified if the rules of attire are not being met.

Schedules are subjected to changes if needed. Do check out your e-mail, NYP Tennis Open 2012 FB event pages or Nyp Tennis's photo album regularly.

It is advised to check your schedule from the FB event page or the blog few hours before your match begins.

**Note that players who are playing consecutive (back to back) matches will be given 30 minutes of rest before playing their next match.

The annual NYP Tennis Open has arrived once again! Our team will be opening a booth on 17 and 18 October 2012 (Wednesday and Thursday) from 10am - 5pm outside Fast Food Link Way.

Do come and visit us at our booth and sign up!

POL-ITE Tennis 2012/2013 & Upcoming Events

Hey all!

Time has passed so quickly since the last post. Here is the major event that had happened and the upcoming events.

POL-ITE Tennis 2012/2013 Championships
Recently, Nanyang Polytechnic Tennis Team has undergone the POL-ITE Tennis 2012/2013 Championships where all 5 Polytechnics and ITE compete against each other.

Here are the following results for the Men's and Ladies' Team:

NYP Tennis Men's Team = 1st
NYP Tennis Ladies' Team = 4th

Congratulations to Nanyang Polytechnic Tennis Team for bringing back the POL-ITE Tennis Trophy!

The NYP Men's and Ladies School Team Trials have finally concluded.

Congratulations to all of the members that made in into the team!

There will also be beginner classes and intermediate classes as well for those who are finding tennis classes in NYP Tennis.

We welcome all enthusiastic learners for this sport, Tennis! Do come and join if you are interested!

There will be many events taking place in the NYP Tennis. Do keep updated with this blog.

NYP Tennis Orientation 2012

Hey guys,

There was a change in the NYP Tennis Orientation 2012 date

The new date and venue will be as follow:

Date: 9th May 2012
Time: 3pm - 6pm
Venue: NYP Sports Complex / North Wing Tennis Court

You may come 15 minutes earlier to register your name so we can start the session on time.

Please kindly bring your lesson fees and racket fee if you need one on the day of the orientation.
